Our client was tasked with looking after VIP guests at an upcoming exhibition. They required a unique way of engaging with their customers and making them feel welcome at their exhibition stand. They also wanted to give visitors the option to request further information that could then be sent to them via an automated email.
Firstly, we looked at the exhibition stand to work out what physical features we could utilise to help give the VIP guests a warm and personal welcome. On the upper deck of the stand was the VIP bar and lounge area so it was decided that we allow visitors access to this. Utilising RFID VIP cards, visitors could scan their unique card (registered pre-show) at the bottom of the stairs. A message would then appear on screen welcoming that guest by name to the stand an invited them to head on up to the bar.
Touchscreens were placed around the stand to also allow visitors to scan their VIP card and request files direct to their inbox. We already had their name and email so there was no need to capture this data again, making for a speedy and simple interaction.
